The Entropy of Us: A Trilogy
Film Synopsis
We build rooms in our minds for the things we cannot face. The Entropy of Us is a triptych of films exploring the "thin life"—the liminal space between life and death where reality is no longer a fixed point, but a flickering shadow.
From a woman forced to unearth a life-altering trauma through the haze of hypnotherapy, to a lover lost in the surreal ink of a letter until her conscious world dissolves, to Amelia—a woman fighting for love and legacy against a backdrop of queer identity and profound sacrifice—the trilogy examines the duality of existence. In these stories, the subconscious is the only place where the lost remain alive, and the living are often spectres.
As they drift through their own private dawns and twilights, these women prove that death is not just a biological conclusion, but a cognitive transition. It is a journey through the "unknowing" of the human heart, where the lines between what is real and what is remembered eventually blur into a single, quiet finality.
